Our Team

Jessica Browder serves as the fiscal officer for the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium (MASGC). In her role, she formulates and manages grant budgets, coordinates financial activities and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. She is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, preparing monthly financial summaries, and balancing administrative accounts. Jessica also supports inter-institutional and multi-partner projects by providing fiscal guidance and serves as the MASGC fiscal point of contact within the Sea Grant network.

Before joining MASGC, Jessica was the business manager for the Mississippi-Based RESTORE Act Center of Excellence (MBRACE).

She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a double major in finance and management, from The University of Southern Mississippi. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution.
