It’s time for the Severe Weather Roundup, where we find answers to your questions related to severe weather events in the Southeastern U.S.

The Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium and VORTEX-SE Outreach Program want to know what’s been happening in your neck of the woods. Wondering how to get emergency alerts on your phone? What action to take when a tornado warning is issued? What to do if lightning strikes your home? Or maybe how to prepare for these events?

Submit your questions by Friday, Nov. 19, and we will round up the experts to provide answers during a virtual Town Hall in early December. Have questions about tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, lightning or flash flooding? Send them to us using this Google form link. So “gitty-up” and get those questions to us. Let’s see what you can come up with!

If you have questions or trouble submitting, please contact Tracie Sempier at [email protected].
