VORTEX-SE Outreach and Engagement is collaborating with Delta State University's Office of Continuing Education to offer this Weather Wise Train-the-Trainer curriculum workshop.
Participants should register by Friday, Aug. 7, 2026.
The program is free and open to anyone interested in becoming a Weather Wise partner, but especially public librarians, educators and community organization leaders. Lunch will be provided.
Attendees will gain resources to empower their community with knowledge on staying safe before, during and after severe weather events. After the workshop, they will go home with both printed and electronic materials to plan their own Weather Wise event.
