The Alabama Cooperative Extension System will host a seminar on recreational pond management from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Five Rivers Delta Center in Spanish Fort, Ala. Topics will include pond building, permitting, stocking, vegetation management and more. Attendees will learn the steps involved in properly constructing new ponds and how to improve angling and aesthetics. Registration is $45 per person and $60 per couple.
