A two-day workshop this spring taught 63 people about alternatives to bulkheads to protect shorelines from erosion. the Weeks Bay and Grand Bay National estuarine Research Reserves Coastal training Programs hosted the event, and the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium was one of the many partners that helped plan and promote it.
