Small Grants Program
The purpose of the small grants program is to build capacity and fill gaps in the development of tools and other products needed to serve communities affected by coastal storms.

2009 Projects
In September 2008, the request for proposals for the community risk and resilience competition was released: http://www.masgc.org/pdf/coastalstorms/csprfp08.pdf

After evaluation by the Coastal Storms Program Review Panel and additional peer merit reviews, projects were selected for funding in two separate categories. These one-year projects began in 2009.

2012 Projects
In December 2010, a Broad Area Funding Opportunity was released which included the Coastal Storms Program community risk and resilience competition: http://www.masgc.org/pdf/coastalstorms/csprfp12.pdf

After merit and peer reviews were completed, the Coastal Storms Review Panel selected six projects for funding. These 1-2 year projects are scheduled to begin in February 2012.
