Science and math teachers interested in including aquaculture/aquascience as a hands-on component in their classrooms are invited to attend Aquaculture 101, June 11-15, at the E.W. Shell Fisheries Center at Auburn University in Alabama. The 5-day training workshop will focus on aquaculture and aquascience and how to teach principles (matched to core standards) of biology, chemistry, math and physics in innovative ways.
Teachers completing the course will receive 32 hours of continuing education credits. There is no cost to attend. Travel and living expenses are not provided.
