The Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium assists communities in planning for a changing climate. MASGC has funded climate adaptation projects working with the City of Biloxi and City of Waveland in Mississippi. The previously funded climate adaptation projects include Waveland's "Review and Update the City's Mitigation Plan" and Biloxi's "Planning Project to Consider Incorporating Climate Adaptation Information in the Biloxi 2012 Hazard Mitigation Plan."
