Climate and Resilience CoP Meeting 2018

The 2018 Climate and Resilience Community of Practice meeting will be held on April 30-May 1, 2018 in Port Aransas, Texas at the Port Aransas Civic Center.

Registration

You can register online for the annual meeting. The registration fee is $100. Local government officials do not have to pay the registration fee. There is a reduced rate ($50) for students who would like to attend. Email Heather Wade for more information. 


Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Island Hotel ($85 per night). As of 4/17/18 there were seven rooms left in the block. The Plantation Suites has closed their block but there are some regular rate rooms available. Please have a credit card ready and reference the "Climate C.o.P." when reserving your room. You will need to book your room by Friday, April 20th to secure these rates.

Poster Session

Call for Poster Abstract Submissions
The Gulf of Mexico Climate and Resilience Community of Practice is requesting abstract submissions for the 2018 meeting. Request is for both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals. Student registration is dicounted to $50 (see above). You can review the criteria and format guidelines here. Abstracts are due by e-mail to ashmarie@tamu.edu by Friday, March 30th. You will be notified of acceptance by Friday, April 6th.
