Kristina Alexander conducts legal research and outreach on a variety of law and policy issues related to coastal and marine resources. She's also the editor of the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium Legal Program’s quarterly newsletter, Water Log.

Kristina received her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Before joining Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant's Legal Program in 2017, she spent eight years as a legislative attorney for the Congressional Research Service, where she covered natural resource laws and wrote, edited and researched for LexisNexis publications.
