Brandi Clarke is a grants administrator and communications assistant for the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium. She is responsible for implementing university-based policies and procedures, financial management, reporting, record keeping, processing pre- and full-grant proposals for NOAA competitions, closing projects, preparing and tracking budgets, and other administrative duties. She also assists in administering the MASGC website, implementing communications projects and activities, and coordinating tracking of publications.
Brandi is the owner and managing member of J.W. Hall, LLC, a consulting business that offers services, such as grant writing, financial management, grant and contract administration, organizational development, resource development, event planning and public and community relations, to clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She is experienced in grant development, management and compliance dealing with grants from state, federal and private funding and is a former Chief Executive Officer of the Mental Health Association of Mississippi, a nonprofit organization.
Brandi holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from William Carey University.
